<h3>Gift Guides</h3>
<p>With the holiday season now here, the perenially challenging question is once again upon us: what do I get for Joe Bob when all I know is that he likes the outdoors? What are some quirky gifts for grandma? What is cool for under $10?</p>
<p><a href="http://www.bonanzle.com/gift_guides">Gift guides</a> allow our community to answer these difficult questions for you. Browse by personality type, price level, and a smattering of other classifications. As it continues to get used, I suspect that gift guides will become the most efficient way to shop when you have a particular occasion coming up. After the guides get built out over the next few days, we'll be adding a link to them directly from the home page, so this will be a high exposure affair.</p>
<p>If you're a seller, a list builder, or a person that just likes browsing, why not consider making a gift guide yourself? It's as easy as creating any other hand picked list (My Bonanzle -> Buying Activity -> Hand picked items). The only difference is that when you are setting up your hand picked list, you choose the gift guide category (or categories) that your list fits into. Once your list has enough items, it will be automatically added to our index of gift guides. Sales and fame ensue. <h3>Price Markdowns</h3>
<p>Price markdowns are a new promotional tool available for our <a href="http://www.bonanzle.com/memberships">premiere members</a> that are described <a href="http://www.bonanzle.com/site_help/booths_setup/markdowns?layout=&title=markdown+manager">in detail here</a>. The gist is that you can setup sales that last for longer than the three hours a Bonanza affords -- in total you can have sales lasting up to seven days per month. While your items are on sale, buyers will be able to see that they are getting a special deal by the price being visibly reduced: from your booth, when looking at the item, and even from on-site search results.</p>
