*Rare and beautiful Venetian Art Glass Earrings, with the unusual and difficult Latticcino pattern. A striking globe of light and color, with a white lattice over a golden core. Pale Blue Millefiori Flowers surrounded by gold are on either side of the lattice. Venetian style flower caps atop, with a watery blue Venetian crystal reflecting the changing patterns below.
* Earrings are 1 1/2 inches long; the latticcino (pron, Latt-uh-chee-no) globe is about 3/4 inches around, and earwires are Hypoallergenic 14K plated steel. Treat these as Heirloom Jewelry, and immediate Collectibles. This is handmade lampwork of the highest quality, an art handed down for generations on Murano island in Venice. As artisans retire, the thriving glass industry, going back to Marco Polo's time, is slowly dying.
