This is an antique 19th Ct Victorian ladies hat, circa 1850’s, about 9 X 9 inches. The hat is hand worked in black straw and embellished with a black silk ribbon, a light olive green and lavender silk ribbon (also used for the ties), glazed cotton flowers, and black lace. The inside is lined with cotton gauze. The straw has some pieces missing along the edge and is torn in one place where it was folded, the silk has stains and is torn in places, but is still strong. The hat needs to be reshaped and cleaned. It was stored folded but would display nicely when restored. Shipping: 1 lb. $12.00 priority insured. Canada and overseas, please ask for a quote.
