Ingredients: 1 tsp. whole allspice
Directions: Combine cider and brown sugar in large saucepan. Put spices in cheesecloth or muslin (tie with string) and simmer in cider and brown sugar mixture.
Caramel Coated Marshmallows 1 1/2 cups finely chopped pecans 36 caramels 2 tablespoons hot water 20 large marshmallows Line a baking sheet with waxed paper. Place pecans in a shallow bowl. Combine caramels and water in a microwave safe bowl and heat on high for 1-2 minutes until melted, stirring once or twice. Dip each marshmallow in caramel and roll in nuts. Lay on waxed paper lined cookie sheet. Let stand until set. Toasted coconut may be used instead of the pecans.
