This is one of the most To Die For Beautiful parures Emmons ever made. The brooch is massive and large enough to wear on a winter coat or cape. The Deep Red, Fuchsia and Red AB stones are spectacular. Compliments are guaranteed whenever this set is worn! The mounting is cast antiqued gold tone metal and the set is quite substantial in weight. The design is a leafy, loopy feather or plume. All rhinestones are present and blazing brightly. One of the large red stones has a pinpoint flea bite. The clip earrings are also oversized and they have the trademark comfort pads on the backs (see photo) Both are marked Emmons and Pat. Pend. These Emmons marks were first used in 1955. Emmons was a sister company of Sarah Coventry until 1981. Condition: Excellent as noted Measurements: Brooch - 2-5/8 inches tall and 2-1/2 inches wide; Earrings - 1-1/2 inches tall and 1-1/4 inches wide. Most of my jewelry is vintage and pre-owned.
