Spring is fluttering in on the wings of this wonderful butterfly! The brooch is a nice large size and would be beautiful worn perched atop one shoulder (or any place else). The enameling is reminiscent of watercolors -- shades of white, pastel blue and green are blended with cobalt blue and a touch of brick red. The wings are rimmed in the same shining gold tone as the back of the brooch. It closes with a functioning safety clasp. The butterfly appears to be unworn front and back. Condition: Excellent Measurements: 1-3/4 inches tall and 2-1/4 inches across the wing tops.
