This is a sweet old Stamped Brass Brooch with an Art Nouveau design of twining vines, flowers, bows and ribbons. The brooch is large, measuring 2-1/4 inches tall and wide. The finish is a rich, deep antique gold color with a slight tinge of rose. There are some age appropriate pinpoint sized dark spots that are visible under a loupe and certainly do not detract at all. I have not polished the brooch and will leave that up to the new owner, if desired.
The locket itself is affixed on top of the base brooch and features a dainty embossed floral design around the top cover. The locket measures 1-1/8 inches tall and 7/8 inch wide. It closes tightly and the hinge is secure. Both of the frame pieces are present and ready to hold your photos. The closure is a safety clasp that works perfectly. The locket cover also shows a bit of age appropriate vintage wear.
