Definitely drool-worthy, this brooch is set in an ornate, gold-washed stamped brass frame with an Edwardian feel. The oval art glass center cab measures an incredible 7/8 inch by 1-1/4 inches! It is a beautiful shade of red and the blue appears to be silver foiled. Under a loupe, there is a nice patina and a bit of gold wash loss seen on the front of the frame but nothing distracting. The back of the piece is in very good condition but has the remnants of a price tag that I didn’t try to remove. It closes with an old “C” clasp that is secure and no damage is seen on the piece. Just a beautiful reminder of a bygone era.Measurements: 1-3/4 inches tall and 1-1/2 inches wide. Most of my jewelry is vintage and pre-owned.
