T&V Tressemann Vogt China Creamer Antique Limoges France Only one available in stock   |
Antique T&V Tressemann and Vogt Creamer from Limoges, France This Creamer is about 3 1/4 inches tall, about 3 inches across, 4 1/2 inches from spout to handle. This is a brown transferware pattern, that has been highlighted with handpainted accents. The flowers are highlighted with violet, gold, teal, and coral and then white raised dots in the flower centers. The edges are gilt, which has some light wear. The creamer has a scalloped edge, one scallop has been broken off, but the edge has been painted with gold, so it blends in well. No crazing, no cracks. There is a lot of wear to the gilt accents on the handle. Marked with the red bell Limoges and green T&V backstamp and Patented April 2nd 98 marked on base. From researching the backstamps, I think these date from the range of 1898 to 1907. A beautiful piece to display in your home! There is a matching sugar bowl available as well in another listing.
