NATIVE AMERICAN SILVER WILD HORSE MAGNESITE CONCHO Belt This fabulous concho belt is highly collectible and a real treasure! This belt comes from a distinct Navajo tradition, belts characterized by large turquoise slabs surrounded by sterling silver and linked or set on leather. And this belt will certainly make a lasting impression! This spectacular belt features LARGE slabs of genuine Wild Horse magnesite nuggets. These slabs features natural warm chocolate brown hues mixed with the white of the magnesite for a fabulous presence! These large slabs of gorgeous Wild Horse magnesite were set in the center of the buckle as well as the sterling silver conchos. The buckle and conchos were hand stamped with traditional Southwestern designs for extra details. The buckle and each of the 9 conchos were backed with silver nickle for lasting durability. The buckle is 3-1/4" x 3" with a 1-1/4" keeper. The conchos average about 3" to 3-1/2" wide x 3" tall. The genuine leather belt measures about 48" and can be cut to whatever size you need. Please let us know at time of checkout. Stamped handmade and signed by the Native American jewelry artisan Verna Blackgoat with shop hallmark.
~Retail Price $5000~ SALE! SPECIAL PRICE FOR THIS LISTING ONLY! Please note that the belt will be shipped to you unpunched so that you can customize perfectly to your size. Please make sure you are satisfied with your belt before customizing as any customized item will not be returnable. Wild Horse is the marketing name for a new find of magnesite/hematite from the Gila Wilderness Area in Southern Arizona. Rich chocolate brown is actually the matrix in this unique stone and the antique white is the magnesite's natural color. This new Magnesite was discovered near Globe, Arizona while mining for other minerals. It is called Wild Horse because of its resemblance to the Pinto horses with brown on white patches known to roam free in the southwest and who were also a favorite horse of many Native Americans.
