ZUNI Dennis Edaakie OLD PAWN MOSAIC INLAY Bolo Tie

This is an incredible find! This is a vintage old pawn ZUNI Mosaic Inlay Bolo Tie by the incomparable Dennis (d) and Nancy Edaakie!

This fabulous piece features precision cut Jet, Turquoise, Coral, Shell and Mother of Pearl inlaid in a stunning Blue Jay design. The tips were also handcrafted from genuine sterling silver.

This old pawn piece is estimated to have been made in the late 1960's and is in exceptional condition! It has all the indications as being one of their earlier pieces of jewelry art. There is some oxidation due to the age and it has not been cleaned since some buyers prefer the old pawn look.

This spectacular Zuni Mosaic Inlay Bolo tie measures about 2-1/4" round on a 38" 4-ply leather cord. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. CTPD3418000

Dennis and Nancy Edaakie are considered by many as the finest Zuni Inlay artists of this period. Dennis had been producing jewelry since 1965 and quickly moved to the top amongst Zuni inlay artists. He is credited with pioneering the mosaic inlay technique. Dennis passed away in 2008 and since his death, his pieces have appreciated over 1/3 in value! Needless to say, any work by Dennis Edaakie is an excellent investment!
