GENUINE MARY MCFADDEN BLACK SLEEVELESS EVENING GOWN 2

genuine Mary McFadden Couture black sleeveless evening gown, size 2. Dry clean only.
 
This stunning black sleeveless gown has a deep v-neck neckline with diagonal seams beneath each bust and a 15-inch left-side side zipper. The dress is straight-cut and fitted, fully lined in solid black polyester. There is no tag indicating size, but it is approximately a size 4. The garment is in excellent condition, but has been worn.
 
Mary McFadden has been described as a “design archaeologist” and “the high priestess of high fashion.” Her years of extensive world travel formed her fashion vocabulary, which shoes the influences of Egyptian, Greek, Celtic, Byzantine, Pre-Columbian, Indian and African cultures. While working at Vogue South Africa, she became wholly interested in African sculptural forms; with this solid foundation in African art and curiosity for other cultural textiles, she created three tunics. She was then encouraged by the editors to start her own design line, which was quickly picked up by Henri Bendel.
 
Inspired by Mario Fortuny’s pleated silk gown, Marri is a pleating technique MdFadden developed for pleating synthetics that is a trademark of her designs. It creates beautiful texture, drape and movement and is great for travel because it doesn’t wrinkle.

Return Policy

All of my items are guaranteed. If there is a clear error in the listing, I will be happy to refund the entire cost of the item plus return shipping.

Shipping Insurance

If the shipping charge looks excessive, please email me - it is probably just an error.
For Domestic shipments, I generally use USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation. There is NO real tracking for USPS Priority Mail. If you require tracking, then the item MUST be sent either via UPS or Express Mail.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE NOTE: Tracking is only available with USPS Express Mail, UPS, DHL or FedeX. Regular First Class International and Priority Mail do NOT offer tracking. If you choose Priority or First Class you are agreeing to a NON-TRACKABLE shipment method.
International shipping times take 3-14 business days but during busy times it can take longer. Additionally, if items have to clear customs that can delay the shipment further.
Certain countries have had extended delays in customs, including the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany and Austria.
International shipments are also subject to local taxes and import duties. These costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
