Masterfully crafted and designed in the early 1940s in Taxco Mexico in an Art deco Style. It is comprised of 7 slightly curved three dimensional triangular links. The clasp is the push locking type and it works perfectly. In 1943 Gerald Rosenberg, the Coro Jewelry Co, entered into a business arrangement with Hector Aguilar, Taller Borda to design and produce jewelry for Coro. It is hallmarked Coro, Made In Mexico, Silver. This hallmark was used by Taller Borda from 1943-1950. It is in superior vintage condition with age associated wear with some lighr scratches to the front of the silver links but no damage, needing nothing more than a gentle polishing. Size: Inside circumference when closed is 6 inches an 7/8, width is 5/8 inch and the total weight is 32.5 GramsCondition: UsedMetal: Sterling Silver or higher, Most early Taxco jewelry was made of higher content of silver than sterling.
