Gray pinstripe dress designed by Karen Stark for Harvey Berin. There is no content label, but it has the look and feel of wool. Fully lined. Red velvet trim on collar and cuffs. Long sleeves with a front zipper about 3/4 of the way down the front of the dress and two snaps at the neck. Front slash pockets. Belt is missing. Belt loops are just under 1.5", so you will need a skinny belt for this of 1 1/4" wide or less. Measurement from shoulder to shoulder seam across the back is 15." The measurement from armpit to armpit across the front is 17.5". Measurement across the front on the waist is 17 3/4". The length is 39.5". Tag inside states that it is a size 8, but vintage sizing is not comparable to modern sizing so please check measurements. There is a dimpling of the velvet on the edge of the collar. The best way to describe it is that it looks like it may have been stored with something heavy that had a texture lying on top of it. There are also a few small holes in the lining near the neckline. Both of these flaws are pictured. Dress is otherwise in very good condition. It has been dry cleaned since last worn and has dry cleaning tags attached. Harvey Berin was in business from 1921-1970 and was a favorite designer of Pat Nixon and Ladybird Johnson.
