This is a new scrap style quilt, in the traditional Twenty Five and Twenty Five pattern.

The perfect size to use as a coverlet on a King or Queen sized bed and not too big for a stunning wall display, combining modern batik fabrics with vintage style.

It was made by a prairie farmer's wife from quilt shop quality 100% cotton fabric & batting. The focus fabrics are 2" Bali batik squares, each block is about 10" square and contains twenty five individual pieces pieced in an alternating checkerboard pattern. There are twenty five blocks, set five by five, (which makes another twenty five) and 625 individual 2" squares, a lot of work.

The quilt has been hand guided machine quilted and the hand made bias binding is finished with a fine, almost invisible hand stitch. This is a quilt you will be proud to own, display and use.
