Introduction by Henry Steele Commager; illustrations by John Groth. Printed in double column. 593 pp, 11 color plates in Vol. 1, 10 in Vol. 2. Each volume has its own slipcase; each shows just a touch of rubbing. Fine books in fine slipcases. With a copy (also fine) of the Heritage Club Sandlgass, No. x-xi:33 loosely inserted, entitled appropriately: Scarlett Fever.
