Hundreds of thousands of years ago, a large asteroid or other body slammed into the Moon and the resulting catastrophic impact hurled lunar surface debris into space which eventually crossed the Earth's orbit and fell to Earth as a meteorite. This meteorite was found and analyzed at a laboratory and it's chemistry matched that of the Apollo Moon Rocks brought back by NASA astronauts. There could only be one source for this unusual meteorite - THE MOON.

Martian meteorites came into existence in the same manner as the Moon Rock I described above. Except when the Martian-origin meteorite was analyzed it contained trace elements that matched readings taken by NASA's Pathfinder rover on Mars. There could be only one source - Mars or another world just like it.

Contrary to popular belief, you can legally own a piece of Lunar or Martian origin meteorite. They are very rare and very expensive, so the samples I am offering for sale are very small. Each one weighs between 7 and 16mg (milligrams), but is large enough to be handled, touched and examined.

Each Moon and Mars Rock comes in it's own individual storage case that has a photo on it (Moon or Mars themed) and a cut-out to hold the meteorite fragment. Each storage case is made of clear acrylic and also has a label showing data and information about the meteorite. (cover photo on individual storage cases will vary)
