Being clear, the stands are barely visible, so that your doll appears to pose unassisted.

The holes in your antique Schoenhut shoes will fit over these pins. These come with larger bases than the old metal stands, to give your precious dolls more stability.

If your Schoenhut doll is able to stand upright, these stands will work very well. If your doll has very good tight joints, you can have fun posing them in animated positions.

Not all Schoenhut dolls are able to stand alone, as some are very worn or have missing or weak springs. Please pose your dolls accordingly.

We have fitted these to several Schoenhut dolls in this size range, and they do fit correctly.

However, we have discovered that sometimes one foot is more deeply drilled than the other. Occasionally a child has inserted a piece of crayon, pencil, or other object into the hole and you will need to remove the obstruction, or use the other foot for the stand.

When standing your doll, it is best if you will place them in a "military stance", with toes slightly outward, knees locked, and back straight. Then if your doll is able, you can carefully pose them in other positions.
