The bat'leth, or "sword of honor", is a traditional Klingon blade weapon. Resembling a        crescent-shaped, two-ended scimitar, the bat'leth is wielded using three handholds along the outside edge of the blade. It is widely considered the most popular weapon among Klingon warriors.

According to Klingon mythology, the first bat'leth was forged by Kahless the Unforgettable in the 9th century AD. Kahless cut a lock of his hair and dropped it into the lava of the Kri'stak volcano, then plunged the burning lock into the Lake of Lusor and twisted it into a blade.

48 inch Bat'leth:  A bat'leth or "Sword of Honor" is a traditional Klingon sword in the famous Star Trek universe.
  Klingon oral history holds that the first bat'leth was forged around 625 A.D. by Kahlesswho dropped a lock of his hair into the lava from the Kri'stak Volcano, then plunged the fiery lock into the lake of Lursor and twisted it to form a blade. After forging the weapon, he used it to defeat the tyrant Molor, and in doing so united the Klingon Homeworld. This first bat'leth was known as the "Sword of Kahless" and was stolen a thousand years ago by the invading Hur'q. It is said that Kahless actually was given the design of the Batleth in a dream.
  In the real world, both the bat'leth and the Sword of Kahless were designed by Dan Curry, martial arts enthusiast and Visual Effects Producer at Paramount Studios.

Warranty & Return Policy

All Returns must be shipped within 10 days of the date it was received.
Misused, Shipping Damaged Items or used items will not be accepted for return.
All return items must be shipped in the Original Packaging and properly packed to prevent damage.
All non-defective products must be returned within 10 days of the date of invoice, and are subject to a 25% Restocking Fee.
All defective products will be accepted for repair or replacement only if they are returned within 10 days as stated above.
All returns must be in original saleable condition, 100% complete, with all packaging material, manuals, and accessories.
A Repair/Replacement Fee will be assessed to all authorized returns received incomplete or damaged, or may be refused at our discretion.
Shipping costs are not refundable. If a returned is found to be defective we will reimburse normal ground shipping in the USA only.
