Drafted into professional football ranks from the 1964 Tiger lineup were Roosevelt Davis, who went to the Philadelphia Eagles and Robert Reed called in by the Baltimore Colts.
Tigerbelle Coach Edward S. Temple became a record-breaker when he was nominated for the second consecutive time as U.S. Women's Olympic Track Coach.
