This adorable vintage La Marquise purse is "made of the finest French tapestry" as stated on its tag; in this case a trio of musicians is on front and back. They must be playing some Lully in a castle...

The sides and bottom are adorned with a lovely millefiori pattern. Inside the purse is lined with a peridot green silk and the zippered compartment with lavender.

Condition: very good, very few signs of wear. Very clean inside and out. There's a hidden red mark, invisible if the inside slit is closed; at very bottom inside there's a small black mark.

Size: about 10 inches at widest and 7-/2 inches high including clasp. Depth at bottom is 2-1/2 inches.
