It has been painted a Soft, Robin's Egg Blue and then I added a Single Hand-carved Rose, (2) Rosebuds, and (2) Leaves, that I make myself... I added Lots of Thick and Messy Paint too!... It has also been Distressed, giving it that Wonderful, Aged and Time-worn, Chippy-look that we all Love so Much! I just Love all of the Wonderful, Ruffly Scalloped Edges, Decorative Ornate Embossed Details, and the Sweet, Hand-carved Rose, Rosebuds and Leaves! This is a Vintage Sconce that was Purchased at an Estate Sale, and is very Large in Scale and is Made of Solid Brass from Italy. It had a Little Sticker on the back of it that said: "Made in Italy", when it was Purchased, but it was Removed before Painting. This Charming, Wall Sconce is so "Cottage Chic" and "Romantic"! It also has a Single, Triangular-shaped, Metal Loop Hanger on the Back of it, that will allow for Easy and Secure, Hanging.
