Offered is this vintage 1960s Butterick pattern featuring Young Designer Paris Michele Rosier. This pattern features a loose fitting, slightly A-line coat dress with front zipper, closing has bias standing collar. Full length sleeves gathered into cuffs. Bias shoulder yokes. Patch pockets, soft back pleat. This pattern is cut, but appears to be in good condition and complete. The envelope back has been taped and there are yellow tape marks. This is a size 12. Corresponding body measurements for a size 12 are: Bust: 32", Waist: 26", Hip: 34", Back waist length 15 3/4".
Michele Rosier was inspired by space age futurism and was nicknamed "The Vinyl Girl". She liked to give a space aged twist to active sportswear. The International Tribune Herald argued that Rosier "has done for ready to wear what Courreges has done for couture -create style without nostalgia".
