There are 20 orange/yellow lights that are low wattage, if one goes out the rest stay lit, even if 6 lights go out the others stay lit. We drill a hole in the back of the vase which allows the cord to come out in the back on the bottom and gives added ventilation.
The vase is not a fire hazard. Although we don't recommend this vase as a night light, care and common sense should be used as with any electrical item. This particular vase is the shape and design of a pumpkin beveled glass. The bottom is felted to avoid any scratches to your furniture. Its decorated on top with a doily, a yellow rose, orange flowers and a small adorable bird. You can put this vase in a living room, bedroom, bathroom or any place in your home to show it off
When its plugged in, the lights warm the potpourri and send a delicate scent throughout the room. The vase is a lifetime gift. You NEVER need to change the lights. You NEVER need to change the potpourri. Should the scent diminish, buy some liquid potpourri. Make sure its unplugged then use an eye dropper to add the liquid through the holes in the top of doily. Wait 48 hours, plug it back in and its just brand new again
