Postage Information and Options

Note, the term 'Family Crest' is often used interchangeably with 'Coat of Arms'. Technically that is not correct, as a Family 'Crest' is a symbol that sits upon the Helm within a Coat of Arms, and was used to distinguish between Arms of members of the same family. Here we offer as 'Family Crests' various image files that are based on Coat of Arms image. AN IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT POSTAGE: PLEASE CONSIDER WHETHER YOU SHOULD PAY FOR EXPRESS POST.

Mount Isa is outside of Australia Post's 'Next Day Delivery' zone, so even Express Post may take a few days.)

I post most of my items in boxes and tubes including packaging materials, to ensure that your items are well protected.

Postage Questions:

Please request a postage quote before bidding by telling me the item/s that you are interested in purchasing, your Australian postcode or overseas destination.

Can I combine postage for more than one item to save costs?

This will be done where possible, but IS NOTavailable for all products. Paper products may be able to be sent together,

as well as smaller items such as key rings and magnets. PLEASE ASK FIRST

Postage for each customer may vary depending on the number or items ordered, the size of the items, the destination

and if Insurance is requested.

This particularly applies to items that are purchased together that cannot be sent in the one parcel(for example: a personalized mug and a paper item inside a frame) Framed products are sent in specialized boxes individually.

The quote given will be for both items and will include postage, packaging, and insurance for both parcels.

Can I collect my item?

Only for customers living in MOUNT ISA QUEENSLAND, I will deliver the items only by prior arrangements. All other items will be posted.

What can I do if I do not get my parcel/s?

Contact me for the tracking number for your parcel/s so you can easily find out where your you parcel is. Australia Post does not officially guarantee the time frame for delivery so please allow extra 3-5 daysfor your goods. In most cases the goods will arrive as scheduled.

For Australian Customers, please allow 3 - 10 working days for your parcel to arrive.

For International Customers, please allow 10 - 15 working days for your parcel to arrive. (using Air Mail)

I take great care in the packaging of my products but I cannot always predict how they are treated in the mail. Registered mail will cover you for any breakage. Extra insurance can also be used if required. If your item is damaged, please keep packaging as Australia Post will require to see it for any necessary claims !!

Returns and Refunds Policy:

I maintain a policy for promptly responding to all emails - usually within a few hours, and only rarely (e.g. weekends/holidays) later than this. Item(s) will be freighted upon full payment. Family Heritage Research is not directly liable for loss, theft or damage to any goods during transit. Should an issue occur during transit, follow up will occur with the Courier or Australia Post (Which ever is applicable) upon notification from the customer.<o:p></o:p>

Family Heritage Research accepts returns for an exchange, credit, or refund within 14 days of receiving your item/s. You must contact by email or written correspondence in the form of a fax or letter. <o:p></o:p>

Damaged items may be returned and a replacement item will be sent or a refund will be given if no replacement stock is available. You are responsible for the cost of postage for the item being returned.

Items not as described may be returned to Family Heritage Research and a full refund will be given if the correct item can not be sent. You are responsible for the cost of postage for the item being returned.

If Family Heritage Research feels that the return policy is being abused, then I reserve the right to refuse any exchange, credit or refund.

Can I send returns back COD?<o:p></o:p>

No, all returned items must be sent back in the ordinary way. Australia Post would not guarantee good will be sent if postage is not paid. I do not collect any CODs.

I found the item description is different to the actual item I received, can I ask for a refund?

<o:p></o:p>

While all care is taken, any errors or omissions in the item details is unintentional. I do not provide refund or minor error on item description or un-ambiguous claim e.g (it is good quality not top quality) Shipping mistakes on my part are paid by me, mistakes on your side are paid by you. (i.e. incorrect address)<o:p></o:p>
