The image on this hand mirror is adapted from a Victorian-era French trade card from my collection of Victorian ephemera. Eve, looking quite like a 1960s flower child, gives a longing look at the forbidding fruit, while the Serpent looks on. My French is...not so good, but I think the sign, Defense De Toucher, means "Do Not Touch". The mirror is 3 1/2 inches, hand-made by me using quality U.S. materials. Each mirror comes in a velvet bag for storage. Poke around my booth to see other designs. I can make these in any quantity, they make wonderful gifts for showers and weddings. |
