Susan Boyle said she wanted to make the audience Rock! What Susan did not know was that she would make the world Rock!

On April 11, 2009, Britain's Got Talent television show aired its January 2009 auditions. A 47-year-old woman named Susan Boyle stunned the world by singing "I had a Dream" from "Les Miserables".

When Susan stepped out on to the stage she was not all dolled up and made over with makeup. She had a simple look and wore very simple clothes.

I think she looked just fine. Maybe, this is because I do not particularly care for most celebrities all made over and looking very plastic and Botoxed.

Upon her entrance and into the first questions asked to Susan the audience and the judges were a bit negative on what Susan had to offer.

However, within a few seconds after she began to sing the judges and audience were stunned by Susan Boyle's performance for the television show Britain’s Got Talent.

Unfortunately, the audience and judges initially misjudged and completely underestimated Susan Boyle's true value.

Within a moment of her song, the audience was captivated and entranced by her powerful and wonderful voice. At the end of her performance, skepticism had turned to amazement and joy. The audience was elated and it could be heard with standing ovation and cheers.

Yet, the real story begins after the audition and airing of the show on April 11; for in the two days following a video of her television appearance began to circulate on Youtube.com.

It is here that most of the world viewed her audition video; and, this is when, Susan Boyle became internationally known as the 48 year old Scottish woman who had the voice of an angel.

The viewers on Youtube.com number of hits began to increase quickly beyond all expectations and millions of people fell in love with Susan Boyle's performance.

There have been negative comments on Susan Boyle's very simple and plain appearance; and, it was for this reason only, that the audience and judges were astounded when she sang her first few bars.

I also believe that most people were overwhelmingly moved and shocked that Susan Boyle was not already a big star having such a golden and powerful voice.

Normally, talent of this type, does not go unnoticed for so many years. Especially, when Susan Boyle had been singing in church since she was twelve years of age, and entered into many different talent contests, school plays and sung Karaoke in many of the pubs around her small town of Blackburn, West Lithonia Scotland.

In fact, in hind sight the town's people interviews provide comments with very little surprise or shock that Susan Boyle is so gallantly loved the world over with her gifted voice. They knew all the time how brilliantly she could sing for they have had the wonderful privilege of listening to her since she was a child. Susan Boyle now, has dazzled the world with her authentic poise and sparkling energy that she exhibits through song.

Today, May 11, 2009, one month to the date, Susan Boyle appears on Oprah Winfrey show. She does not sing, as her contract does not allow her to perform until she completes Britain's Got Talent show.

She does not believe she will win the big prize; yet, she continues to try her very best. She respects her competition and believes she is up against some of the best talent.

It is important to recognize that if Susan does not win the Britain’s Got Talent grand prize for the show, she certainly has won the overall grand prize from the world.

Many are anxiously waiting for her to record and produce her songs so they can purchase and continue to listen to her wonderful singing.

Susan Boyle definitely has won the grand prize before the show is announced, because what she was after she has achieved.

She dared to dream to become a professional singer like Elaine Paige. She has definitely accomplished this!
