W@W! LADIES *** VICTORIAN ENGLISH Solid 9KT Rose Gold Ring with a carved Intaglio in the Australian Jade stone. This is a RARE & UNUSUAL 8 ct Stone is 16mm x 12mm. The carving is of a young Victorian woman, very finely rendered. This ring has been completely Hand-Made in England by British Jewelers. The stone is completely surrounded by 9Kt prongs and a cast very ornate open-work, particularly fussy setting, with equally divine designs on both shoulders. The stone has amazing color and translucency. The band is Hallmarked 9K solid gold, with Full Genuine London Hallmarks- Lots of them, but tiny! Fully Hallmarked by the London Assay Office- 9K Solid Gold (375). 9K Gold is very durable and highly resistant to wear and scratching. The higher the gold content, the softer and more vulnerable to damage. This Rose Gold is truly a romantic choice for this fabulous Apple Green Australian Jade Ring.  A size 7, the ring's shank is plain, so is sizable by a jeweler. Total weight of the ring is over 5.2 GRAMS! Although Vintage, and previously worn, this ring is in EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION.
GOOGLE-Australian Jade is a Misnomer for the elite apple-green chalcedony that’s shipped to China from Australia. The green of authentic chrysoprase, caused by traces of nickel, varies in shade from pale or yellowish green to Granny Smith apple green, its best color. At its best, it will be without flaws, inclusions, or other imperfections, but color is of most importance. Though lacking the toughness of jadeite, chrysoprase is often harder, more translucent, and produces better polish and luster. There are NO INCLUSIONS IN THIS STONE.
The world’s major source of chrysoprase is Marlborough, a tiny town in Queensland, Australia. Blink your eyes as you pass, and you’ll miss it.
