Scarab and pearl swan pin is 1/20 12Kt. Gold Filled by the W.E. Richards (WRE) Company of North Attleboro, Massachussetts. This is the company that signed their high quality jewelry Symmetalic from 1936 to 1944. In 1944, they began to sign their jewelry WRE. This well-designed and unusual pin features a semiprecious tigers eye scarab that has carving on top as well as a pearl for the swan's eye. This pin is very small. It measures approximately 5/8" x 7/8" and has a safety closure. In excellent condition. It is signed "1/20 12KT GF WRE" on the reverse. Ideal brooch for the scarab, pearl, or swan collector of vintage jewelry.
