Lovely Handpainted Cup & Saucer Trico Nagoya Japan. The cup stands about 2 1/4" and the mouth is 3 3/4" wide. The saucer is 5 1/2". Both have a lovely handpainted scene of a house in the fall and that is carried over to the saucer. These were made by Trico China of Nagoya, Japan, and hand-decorated and marked on the bottom in black ink. The parent factory was Tashiro Shoten, LTD, which opened before WWII but was closed in 1954. There are no chips, cracks or breaks noted. However in the bottom of the cup there is a small ball of china from the manufacturing process. Questions? Please ask!
