Sugar Bowl and Lid in the Royal M Saji Fragrance Rose Blush pattern. Lovely China with pink roses with pink and gray stems. From the Fourties or Fifties. Very well cared for. There are a couple of small utensil marks, but no trim wear or pattern wear. Almost looks unused. Back says: Royal M by Saji China co. -- Japan -- Fragrance. The dinner plate has a close up of the pattern. No cracks, crazing or chips. We are listing many pieces of this beautiful vintage china, including completer pieces. The name on the back of the plates says Fragrance, but in our research it seems to match a pattern called Rose Blush by the manufacturer. Perhaps it was marketed under 2 different names in different parts of the world. The people that owned these were diplomats and lived in several different countries and they could have purchased these overseas. |
