This birdhouse is made to be hung from a tree limb or mounted on a post. The top is a old rusty shovel with the handle removed. The bottom is attached with screws that can be removed for cleaning.
The finish is natural so it will change with the seasons to look old and rustic.
For added decoration I added a rusty horseshoe over the opening and added a ole brown ceramic electric insulator with a large river rock wrapped in twisted wire on the side. A tree branch represents a tree.
I love this house- my husband help me with the cutting and putting it together. I did the finishing touches.

Size: Shovel top is 7" wide
Shovel top length is 21"
15" tall to top of limbs
Hole size is 1 & 1/2 inches
