This is a handy little electric press iron. It is in Very Good Condition! It comes with the box (which is faded) and instructions.
The iron has a wood handle...the iron part is chrome with the Crown Electric 'crown' symbol in the middle. I've used this to press ribbons for my craft projects and it works pretty good. Not as good as a modern day iron of course...but it does work. It has a green cord with the traditional prongs that fit into any modern outlet. The little 2 page instruction booklet has some kitchy little drawings for the different uses of this device. On the back of the booklet it says this item is perfect for traveling, school, home or office. It will not overheat. It is automatically controlled...not sure what that means?? Economical in consumption of power equal to a 25 watt light bulb. Which I guess was an important feature in the 40's...which I think is the era for this item.
