I came across these elegant earrings at a recent Estate Sale. They are signed by the French Designer, Inna Cytrine, Paris on the clips. She was known for her unusual bracelets and earrings of clear or frosted Lucite with heavy golden scrollwork. I believe this is costume jewelry, so it probably is not real gold (it is not marked). These are a clear Lucite half hoop design accented with gold scrollwork that hugs the curve of the Lucite. They measure approximately 1 1/2 inches in length and 1 1/2 inches deep. The Lucite is 1/2 inch across and the gold accents are 3/4 inches across. They are in excellent condition.

In 1989 the New York Times ran an article about the Martha International Boutique that was opened on Park Avenue by Lynn Manulis. In the article it was mentioned that the store carried jewelry by the high end accessories designer Inna Cytrine. Inna's jewelry would sell for $200 to $700 in her store in New York. Inna's jewelry is very hard to find anywhere on the Internet for sale. I was only able to find one pair of earrings listed for sale at $195.00 and a pair that had recently sold at an auction house (the price wasn't listed).

This would be a great addition to anyone's collection of designer jewelry and one-of-kind art jewelry, truly a unique find!
