GREEK KOMBOLOI RARE VINTAGE KAHRAMAN AMBER

A SPECIAL LISTING FROM TESBIHCI'S PRIVATE COLLECTION :  A GREEK KOMBOLOI / WORRY BEAD STRAND MADE WITH IN RARE VINTAGE BUTTERSCOTCH PRESSED KAHRAMAN AMBER BEADS

You are presented here with a very rare and exceptional Greek KOMBOLOI , worry Bead Strand made of 25 beads + Complete Front bead all from pressed GENUINE KAHRAMAN Amber in nugget shape.
The beads are TRUE VINTAGE and are at least 60 years old.
They were made in the late 1940's from Kahraman amber filings as this was very much in fashion then and less expensive than block amber.
The Beads of this strand have been in my private collection for more than 35 years. The Komboloi has been designed with sterling silver beads and Tassel. Pictures will describe better than anything else this beautiful item.
 
Beads are quite large have a size of about :16 x 12 mm.  It is a nice and well balanced  strand weighing 64 grams with a length of near 37cm.  ( abt 15 in.).
