This is a very lovely Bavarian Germany Charger, Cabinet Plate or Serving Dish in Mossy Green with what appears to be 4 painted & well detailed Pink Roses and Green Foliage trimmed with great gold detail (see close-up) made in Bavaria Germany, by Tirschenreuth. According to Kovels Dictionary of Marks this beautiful dish was manufactured somewhere after 1903. Marks on the bottom: Shield with crown on top and P & T on either side (see 3rd photo) ~ the plate measures 11 1/2" across. No chips, cracks, knicks or major wear etc that I can see. I know very little about it and would welcome any info and authentication. I do know it sings when flicked with the finger and is very unusual!! Nice addition to any fine china service, painted plates or Roses Collection.... I'm selling this for a friend so the sale is final - it's just time to thin things out so we're passing it along. condition: excellent as found - it's been sitting in the collector's cabinet for who knows how long ~ from my smoke-free home ~ I'm happy to send other photos and try to answer any questions.
