This scalloped table mat is made of light flax linen and embroidered on two sides with a southern belle walking her dog with a country church and flowers. Lots of wonderful embroidered details. The edge is hand crocheted in shells that are blanket-stitched to the linen. Condition is immaculate. It is 16 x 16 inches. There is a matching oval piece listed.

This is part of a lot of small antique linens. The pieces are from the earliest years of the 20th century.
