This gorgeous 1950's pottery from Hull has a small hairline crack going up from the edge of the hanging hole to the top point of the rim. Other than that it is in perfect condition.

Vintage Hull Art Pottery Lavabo - Butterfly Pattern
The back of this is marked B25 - and the '56 . It measures 9" long and 6" high - I think it is the top half of a two piece lavabo which is shown in some reference books but I can't find my reference book.
It has one short - 1 inch long" crack on the inside coming down from the top and some staining from being used as a planter as some point in it's past (but not serious. I can just see the reminents faintly inside). Absolutely will not detract from it's appearance if you want to mount it on a wall.

AUCTION TERMS:
Our merchandise is normally antique or vintage and although top-quality, may have experienced a less than wonderful life before arriving here. So, you should read the description completely and ask us any questions you have, before you bid. One of us is online most of the day (EDT in the US) and able to answer quickly. Our items are stored in a home free from cigarette smoke but we do have cats. We spend a great deal of time & effort shopping for the lovely antiques and collectible products we offer. And we do our best to describe them accurately and completely.
SHIPPING
We work hard to get your products to you quickly and safely. Normally your purchase will be shipped within 2 days of payment receipt. Many products ship the same day they are paid for. Any exceptions to this policy will be clearly stated in the description.
We take great care in securely packaging your item. There are multiple layers of bubblewrap, sometime cardboard dividers between items, sometimes we sandwich the bubblewrapped item between layers of cardboard and then use more bubblewrap and packing peanuts for additional cushioning. I have had customers say the item could have withstood a nuclear detonation. We try to protect against that. It costs slightly more to wrap that way but YOU are worth it and so is the beautiful item you are bidding on.
Most of our items can be shipped worldwide. MY international shipments do have insurance coverage because I have a policy with a wonderful insurance brokerage – DISCOUNT SHIPPING INSURANCE. Most international shipments are not traceable and are not guaranteed to arrive within a specified time. For holiday purchases, you may need to upgrade to a more time-sensitive shipping. Just ask me and I'll help you decide what to use.
We offer the most appropriate shipping options for each item. When more than one item is purchased we only charge the handling charge for the first item. And while we also try use the combined item weight for multiple purchases to keep shipping costs as low as possible, we sometimes must pack items seperately just to m
ake sure your fragile, beautiful purchases will arrive intact. Insurance is automatic & required on each purchase. It just gives more peace of mind knowing that if it gets lost or broken during transit from us to you, you’re covered and so are we.
As of May 12, 2008, the United State Post Office has again raised postage rates. This money goes to the US Postal Service not to me. Please contact them about their prices.
FEEDBACK
When you rate my transaction, please remember that Bonanzle asks if the shipping costs were reasonable. They mean, did I overcharge you or charge a lot more than the Post Office charged me? Was MY handling charge reasonable for the fragile and delicate item you purchased and the way it was wrapped and packed? They don't mean are shipping charges in general reasonable because even Bonanzle knows the Post Office, DHL, Fedex and all the rest are out of my control. My handling fee is based on my costs for bubblewrap and packing peanuts, boxes, envelopes etc. . These are petroleum-based items and their costs have gone up over the last 11 years but my handling fee has not risen in the last 5 years. And we expect to hold the line where it is for the balance of this year. So please evaluate that DSR star on WHAT I charged, not on what the Post Office charged.
When Bonanzle asks about the shipping time, they mean how long from your payment until I put it in the mail, NOT how long did it take the USPS or other delivery service to get it to your door. So please look at your payment day and the date of the postmark.
We think we give 5 star Gold service and do a 5 star job of getting your item to you at the most reasonable rate. We'd like to think we deserve 5 stars for every category when you rate us. AND if you don't think so, we'd like to hear from you BEFORE you do the rating to see what we can do to improve that score.
PAYMENT:
We happily accept Paypal. Per Bonanzle's new policy that is our only accepted paypment method. NOT my idea. Payment is due IN MY HANDS within 7 calendar days from the end of the auction/sale. Non-payment always gets reported.
RETURN POLICY:
I do not sell "on approval" therefore I accept returns ONLY when an item has been unintentionally misrepresented, due to an omission or error in the description and only if I pre-approve the return. So you have to email me thru the ASQ. The item must be returned in the condition it was shipped to you and my security tags must be intact. And must be postmarked within 3 days of my email agreeing to the return (sorry but some people think they can take 3-4 months - meanwhile I'm out the item and the money. NOT happening any more. Send it back first, then I'll refund providing all the above conditions are met with). Return shipping charges will only be refunded if I have unintentionally mis-identified something.
Sometimes damage occurs during shipping. That is covered by insurance. Retain all the broken pieces & the packaging & contact me for a claim form.
