Item Description: ANTIQUE ENGLISH DARK CHERRY FINISH VANITY CHEST DRESSER WITH MIRRORS. This is a beautiful antique English vanity chest dresser. It features a beautiful bevel mirror that tilts for your convenience and it has two elegant supports. The dresser surface has a nice dark cherry finish and it shows some age. The owner said the dresser is dark HEAVY WOOD-POSSIBLE WOOD FROM AFRICA. I am not knowledgeable about woods, but it looks cherry color. I do know the dresser has it's original hardware and finish. Some wear and is in good condition considering its age, early 1900's late 1800's. The three mirrors are in good condition. On the top of the dresser, there are two jewelry drawers that have lovely facings with attractive handles. This vanity offers a total of six drawers well constructed with dovetail joinery, and very attractive handles and fancy hardware. The dresser has casters for easy move. One of the casters is missing, however the owner is looking for another one-hopefully she will find it. The left side of the front bottom has been repaired. The right side bottom needs repair (damage)-the owner repaired it and added a roller wheel. However, the dresser may have some age appropriate wood imperfections and one area of damage otherwise it is overall in good cosmetic and structural condition. It is strong and sturdy. The vanity chest dresser is a unique lovely piece of furniture that could be in a bedroom, an office or many possibilities. Designers do not miss out on this bargain. SIZE: 32.5" height to top of flat surface of dresser, 42.25" wide, 36" is the height of the mirror section=68.5" tall.The lighting is off in some pictures. The pictures that show a deep cherry wood and finish is the correct coloring.
The dresser is located in a designer store in Everett, WA. The owner has many antique furniture and other items in her estate that will be up for sale in my store.
