Taxco Mexico Sodalite Pendant and Chain If you love silver jewelry from the famous town of Taxco, Mexico, then this is the piece for you.
It is a lovely sodalite pendant attached to a beautiful and unusual sterling silver chain. The oval piece of sodalite has been carefully set into silver creating the lovely pendant. The chain itself is a work of art consisting of long solid silver pieces alternating with four tiny silver beads to make an eye catching chain.
The chain measures 20 inches (open), and the pendant is approximately 1-1/8 inches. With the chain closed the total length is approximately 11-1/4 inches. The chain is eye catching enough to wear alone.
The pendant has wonderful marbelized markings, and with the detailed chain is ready to set off anything you would accessorize it with. Both the pendant and chain are in excellent condition.
As you can see together they make a stunning necklace that will attract attention each and every time it is worn.
Sodalite is an opaque, navy blue, semi-precious gem stone, usually with characteristic white streaks. It is often confused with Lapis Lazuli.
