Vintage Bracelet, Sterling Silver Taxco, Mexico (354j)

This beautiful sterling silver bracelet from the famed silver town of Taxco, Mexico will gather you compliments when ever and where ever you wear it.
It is in very good vintage condition, gently worn, and is marked "TS-115, Mexico, 925". The measurements are 1.5 inches at the widest point and has a 1.50 inch opening; it measures 6.50 inches from end to end. It is easy to get on and very comfortable to wear.

The "T" number means that it was made in Taxco and the "S" is the initial of the artisan who created it. "115" means that he/she was the 115th artisan with the initial "S" to register his/her number. This marking system started around 1980.

The bracelet is quite heavy, coming in at 55.9 grams. It is lovely in its simplicity and could very easily be monogrammed if you so desire.
