Gorgeous very old double-sided folding Asian Hand Fan. This fan is in excellent, near mint condition, ends are of lacquered black wood, ribs are of wood and fan itself is paper. One side is hand embellished with several scenes in gold on black paper, the reverse side is delicately hand written in Japanese or Chinese in gold lettering sorry I have no idea what it says. This fan measures a full 10 inches in length and 18 1/2" wide when opened; folded measurements are 10" long x 1" wide. The only flaw I found was one tiny pin prick in the paper near one rib.
