Antique English Creamware Brown Glaze Column Candlestick. Late 18th century. The tall candle stick molded from a silver example. With a square gadrooned rim at the top over a square tapering socket and with a square baluster mid section. The tall tapering column stem with reeded and fluted design. On a gadrooned and arched molded square base. Brown glaze lines accenting the stick. The underside unmarked. In good condition with some minor glaze flakes on one side of the column. A glaze flake on the gadroon corner an the base of the column. No repairs or restorations. The usual and expected potting and glazing flaws. Acutally much cleaner than appears in the photographs. English, late 18th century. Measures 10"€ high, 4"€ square at base.
