Augarten Wien Porcelain Horse And Rider Figurine From The Spanish Riding Series Designed by Professor Albin Dobrich.
The white porcelain figure of a man in eighteenth century style dress with a wig and ribbon tie.  A coat with long tails and with riding boots and spurs holding a tri corner hat and with a sword.  Sitting on a prancing horse with saddle, bridle and bag.  The horse standing on an oval base.  The base impressed Dobrich.  The underside with the Augarten mark of a crown over a banded shield in underglaze blue with Wien (Austria) below.  Impressed Made In / Austria and numbered ??02 B.
In very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
Austrian, Augarten, 20th century.  Measures 8" high, 8" wide, 3" deep at base.
