Here is a truly beautiful, large, creamer and sugar bowl set. The set is old, dating back to the 1930s, marked with an old Japanese mark, and beautifully handpainted in what we call shades of Art Deco greens and oranges. There are large peonies all over both pieces, which have a scalloped trim along the bottoms that form "feet". There is gold trip on the handles, outlining the flowers, and along the bottom edge. It shows ittle wear. All the colors are still bright and vibrant, including the pure white background. The glaze is still shiny. There are no chips or cracks. The set is in wonderful condition, perfect for every day or for the most elegant dinner table. You will absolutely love it, whether for your morning coffee, light lunch, of delightful dining!
