Gary Trudeau's "Doonesbury" was one, if not THE, most controversial American comic strip ever. Here we are now, offering THE 1990 DOONESBURY STAMP ALBUM, which celebrated 20 years of the high quality cartoons. The entire family, the Duke of Malibu, his dudeship etc., are here and accounted for. There are 16 sheets of striking, full color stamps, more than 150 in total, including a two page map of the US with locations of all the family members highlighted. The stamps were designed by Gary Trudeau and George Corsillo and are strikingly colored. Each stamp itself is fun and an individual collectible, ideal for enhancing letters, if you're still sending such things--and can bear to break up the album. Trudeau's proceeds from Trudeaus and those, in part, fomfrom the publisher went to the Writers' Voices Publishing Program of Literacy Volunteers of NYC, Inc. The album was published by the Penguin Group in 1990.
