Handmade Cord Rosary With Pearlized Green Beads

This rosary is made of nylon cord and has a white plastic center and crucifix attached.


Strings of beads have been used for prayer and meditation for ages, they help to center and focus. Scented objects such as rosaries made from rose petals have also been used in many religions.

Originally there was always 165 beads on a strand and they were made solely of rolled rose petals, which is where the word rosary, derived from rosarium (or rose garden) came from.
