* Delicate and lovely vintage Japanese Flower Beads, with tiny Millefiori pieces against a solid ground of rich lustrous colors. The handmade beads are size 7-8mm, and imported into the US in the 1970's. Dollar decline has made today's price for new beads prohibitive; there are Indian imitations but the colors don't have the intensity and clarity of the Vintage beads.
* The Millefiori Flower Beads are strong enough to stand on their own in a design; long ropes with Flower Beads separated by tiny seed beads are a classic. They are inexpensive and delicate enough to be used as background beads combined with metal beads and other larger fancy beads.
