COMMENTS: "Grand Lodge of Rhode Island. Office of The Grand Secretary, Providence, February 11, A.L. 5861.

A Quarterly Communication for the M.W. Grand Lodge, will be holden in Masons Hall, in this city, on Monday, 25th instant, at 10 o'clock, A.M., for the transaction of such business as may regularly come before it.

Thomas A. Doyle, Grand Secretary."
The letter was addressed by hand to Stephen Eddy Esq. Chepachet. The Grand Secretary of the Lodge was the mayor of Providence, RI. Thomas A Doyle was mayor of Providence for eighteen years (1864-68, 1870-80, 1881-86), and died in office.
CONDITION: Light wear and creasing. The postage stamp has been removed from reverse, where Mr. Eddy's name is written. SEE PHOTOS
