COMMENTS: A letter from J.C. Murray to Mr. John Davis in Youngstown Ohio, concerning the sale of a farm. "Warren, Ohio May 22nd, 1901 Mr. John M. Davis Youngstown, O. Dear Sir. Yours received and am sorry to learn that Mr. Everett's creditors are getting in a hurry as it takes time to get such a deal through, as it is a size and a price. That we can't get many interested: I am having about as many coming to look at farms from 2 to 6 thousand dollars as I can take care of. Especially as I have not been well for the past 10 days. I enclose Stewart's last letter so that you will see how it is and will write him again by this mail. You will understand how it is. That it is a delicate matter to handle, to urge him to come to much, unless we make much concessions in regard to price, but will write him saying that Mr. Everett does not think that I am looking after his interests closely enough. and that will take the urgent part of it off from Mr. Everett. I have some parties with money to loan but all of them want real estate security I have been intending to go and see you, but have been very busy and not well besides. Has that lady near you decided to build an addition yet? I will write Frank and see if he knows whether the parties near Pittsburgh that we expect out. would be interested in the place or not. I will try and bring some to see it before long if they are not very much interested. Please give my regards to Mrs. Davis and your family Yours truly, J.C. Murray"
